Nancy Smith for Sunnyvale City Council announces key environmental endorsements
Sunnyvale — City Council Seat 6 Candidate Nancy Smith is pleased to announce that she has earned endorsements from the Sierra Club, Loma Prieta Chapter and Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters.
“Nancy has been an outstanding advocate for our environment and for making Sunnyvale a regional leader on environmental issues. She will be a tremendous steward for our green spaces and parks and focus on our sustainability,” stated Melissa Hippard from the Sierra Club.
Gary Bailey, Sunnyvale resident and Endorsement Committee member for both organizations, said, “She knows that our community is stronger, and healthier and that the value of our homes are improved by consciousness to our environmental impacts. We are proud to endorse Nancy Smith for Sunnyvale City Council Seat 6.”
